Dreaming of Sand Castles

I can't believe that this is the last day of a whole year. The one thing that interested me the most during 2014, I think, was photography, and I know that it'll be something that will last a very long time. I saved this collection of pictures for this day because I wanted to have a theme for the year: the year in colors.
(the order of the photos I will be speaking of are in order of top to bottom, left to right!)

1: Last March, I went to Bermuda. I wish I'd taken more pictures, especially because now all I remember is the ocean (but it's a lovely thing to think of!). I will remember, though, the way I had the time of my life swimming in those waters.

2 & 3: #shadowselfie. This was this weekend. My mum and dad came in to the second picture.

4 & 6:  The sky in various places. I was quite proud of taking these pictures, mostly because I spend a lot of my time walking while looking at the ground (it's an instinct). I have a whole collection of memories of side-walk cracks. Do you do that too, or am I the only one?!

5: A starfish from a few years ago, actually, but I thought that it looked pretty!

7: The sea in Bermuda again!

8: Last week I was on a promenade and I saw this old-fashioned boat. I was sitting down to re-tie my boot laces, so I took pictures of it through a tree and they ended up being some of my favorite pictures.

My resolution in terms of blogging in 2015 are to blog more, take many more pictures, and to have fun doing it! What are yours? Let's hope that this is a year filled with memories of ice-cream-consuming, selfies, and TV shows that make up for the termination of Keeping Up Appearances!
